You Don’t Want Super-High-Speed Internet, Says Time Warner Cable

KLINT FINLEY wrote an article on Wired with the first paragraph stating:

“Time Warner Cable chief technology officer Irene Esteves says you don’t really want the gigabit speeds offered by Google Fiber and other high speed providers.”

Is Time Warner Cable CTO really believing this or just stating it to make it sound ok that their basic download speed is 3Mbps upload speed is less than 1Mbps?
